Husband, dad of five, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®, and your current Eagle Mountain City Council member — running for re-election to keep doing the unglamorous work that makes this city run well.

Zac Huish moved to Eagle Mountain with his wife, Tiffany, in 2005. Together, they have raised five daughters here and have seen firsthand both the promise and the challenges that come with a growing city.
Professionally, Zac is a Certified Financial Planner who manages a financial planning and investment advisory practice with HUB International. His background in budgeting, long-term planning, and responsible decision-making shapes the way he approaches city government.
"Local government should be efficient, focused, and responsible with limited resources."
Zac believes Eagle Mountain's future should be built together. Before and during his time in public service, he has been involved in church, neighborhood, and community projects, and he believes the strongest cities are built by engaged residents working toward a shared future.
As a City Council member, Zac serves as liaison to the Community Services Board, Planning Commission, and Utah League of Cities and Towns Legislative Policy Committee. He is focused on preserving open spaces, strengthening public safety, improving transportation connectivity, and protecting Eagle Mountain's financial stability.
Not talking points — the lens Zac applies to every budget vote, master-plan decision, and policy discussion at the dais.
Protect the views that brought us here.
Preserve trails, ridgelines, and wildlife corridors. Growth shouldn't cost us the horizon.
Strong police, fire, and EMS partnerships.
Back the people who answer the call. Plan ahead for wildfire, traffic, and emergency response.
Move safely — by car, bike, or foot.
Better roads, real sidewalks, regional transit. A city you can actually get around.
Plan long. Spend carefully.
Every taxpayer dollar is borrowed from the next generation. Treat it that way.
“Teams win. What we build, we build together — for the people already here, and the ones still coming home.”
Zac currently serves as City Council liaison to the following boards and committees — putting in the unglamorous hours that keep Eagle Mountain running well.

Eagle Mountain is one of the fastest-growing cities in Utah. The decisions our council makes about roads, public safety, water, parks, and open space in the next few years will shape this place for generations.
Zac is committed to a council that plans ahead, spends carefully, and keeps the community feel that brought us here — even as we grow.
